Why I Built This

At the start of this semester, I had an idea: what if I built a micro-social platform to help us navigate course selection? Registration is supposed to be exciting, but thanks to Albert's terrible UI and lack of real info, we end up spending 80% of our time exhausted, asking friends about their experiences.

And even then, classes still don't always match our expectations. For example, I once took two electives just to learn TouchDesigner, only to find out they barely covered it. Yet, people still recommend them in group chats saying, "I heard this class teaches TD." That made me realize that raw ratings aren't actually the most important thing, and the real value comes from specific tags and honest reviews.

I've been building Pixelatd mostly solo, squeezing it in between my own classes and work. I managed to ship it just in time for registration season, but it's still a work in progress and not perfectly polished yet. I really appreciate your understanding!
